Monrovia Jr-Sr High School

Monrovia HS has hired Coach Daryl Gibbs to lead its Girls Basketball program. Coach Gibbs comes to Monrovia with 22 years of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels, with most recently being the head coach at Decatur Central for 5 years. He has also been the head coach at International HS where he started their girls basketball program. His assistant coaching positions include stops at the University of Indianapolis, Cardinal Ritter, and Western Boone. Coach Gibbs is currently a Career Coach at DePauw University. He has also taught HS Business, and has been the Assistant Athletic Director at the University of Indianapolis. Coach Gibbs lives in Plainfield with his wife Heidi, and triplet sons Daryl, Cade, and Jacob. Coach has already had a callout meeting that had 25+ girls in attendance and is looking forward to getting the summer schedule ironed out very soon!
